Description

• A meter bracket is designed to suspend a gas meter, using the two male threaded bosses on the top of the meter. Specially designed meter unions and adaptors with grooves in them are slid into the slots in the meter bracket and the meter is then attached to these. A security washer and shear bolt should be used to prevent unauthorised removal of the meter union or adaptor from the bracket.
• The meter brackets may be fixed to a wall, or to the floor-mounted bracket.
• Inlet and outlet accept (giving 22 mm capillary male, 3/4″ BSP taper male, 28 mm male/22 mm female capillary or 1″ BS 746 male threads). The above brackets will accept U6, G4 and E6.G130 meters.
